 About the Randazzo's Tradition
tinylogo.jpgNonna’s Italian Bakery and Café opened on the Northshore in Covington during September 2006. Nonna’s Italian Bakery may be new but Felix and Joel Randazzo Forjet have many years of experience in the bakery business. Joel is the daughter of Lawrence Randazzo, who in 1965 with his brothers and father started the renowned Randazzo’s Hi Lan Bakery in St. Bernard Parish. Felix joined his father-in-law’s business in 1986 while still in high school; he is now celebrating 20family.jpg years of baking. Due to Hurricane Katrina Felix, Joel and their children evacuated their lifelong home of St. Bernard Parish and have decided to plant roots on the Northshore. Continuing family tradition and a new concept that Felix and Joel have dreamt about, they decided to open Nonna’s Italian Bakery & Caffe’. Nonna’s has a warm, casual atmosphere, which makes it great to meet friends or colleagues for lunch and provides scrumptious desserts, freshly baked breads and pastries. Keeping with the old world traditional Italian bakery, Nonna’s is committed to baking with only the finest quality products. For a delicious casual lunch, coffee and pastries with friends or that special gathering at home visit Nonna’s for exceptional quality baked goods to compliment any special occasion. Se il relativo italiano che conoscete è squisito!!! If it’s Italian, you know it’s delicious!
